The ability of insects to adapt to any conditions, instantly dissolve in the natural environment, while maintaining individuality and recognizability is what inspired the collection of designer Marina Sokolova. The collection fully reflects the contradictory needs of an urban resident – while they strive for the manifestation of individuality, they want to disguise it at the same time. There is nothing superfluous in the collection; each element is functional, placed where it belongs.
The palette is in the colors of nature: leafy greens, the shades of the tree bark, the backs and wings of various insects.
The collection is called “Bugs” – the word is written in English not only for phonetic reasons, but is also a reference to American culture with its free, relaxed tenue, naturalness and ease of manners, careful attention to accessories and supplements, and the desire to reach integrity in the image.
